Ann Marie Miller draws on her extensive experience in Health and Fitness, her strong academic background, her skills developed as a coach and competitive cyclist, and her passion for training, to help Peloton Riders have more fun on the bike. Ann Marie was graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ball State University, IN with a BA, and from Columbia University, NY with an MA in Applied Physiology. She is a licensed USA Cycling “Level 2 Coach” and completed the BG Fit Technician Certification from Specialized Bicycle Components University at the Boulder Center for Sports Medicine. Holding a Category 1 racing license she “discovered” cycling by way of various other endurance sports, like running, duathlon and triathlon. Her bike racing experience includes wins in multiple disciplines; 5 UCI Worlds Master’s Championships from 2012 to 2017 and 15 United States National Masters’ Champions across 4 age groups including 7 Road Race, 5 Criterium and 3 Time Trial Championships.
Ann Marie is currently Head Coach for the Performance Center at Chelsea Piers Fitness, a USTA Regional Training Center and a coach for the Century Road Club Association. She has been a bike fit specialist and cycling coach at both SBR MultiSports and at Cadence Cycling & Multisport NY, where she also served as Director of Corporate Wellness Programs. She spent 3 years helping new riders as a leader of the New York Cycle Club’s “A” level SIG program, a twelve week training program helping riders to develop skills and endurance necessary to complete a century ride (100 miles). Ann Marie started bike racing with the CRCA bicycle-racing club of New York, NY, and credits their coaching program with her competitive cycling success. She has also competed in numerous running events from 5K’s to marathons, and she completed the London Marathon, where she qualified for the Boston Marathon.
Ann Marie Miller has over 25 years as a fitness-professional in various settings in Corporate and Commercial facilities, holding an AFAA Group Fitness Instructor Certification. She has created and presented workshops for fitness professionals throughout the USA, South America, Europe and Asia, as a Reebok University Master Trainer. She enjoys coaching athletes of all levels, and is thrilled to share the benefits of exercise and fitness with Peloton riders.
