Arland Macasieb has been cycling since 1994. He has a Bachelors (Rutgers College) and Master degree in Exercise Science (Montclair State University) and is also a certified Pedorthist. He is also a USA cycling certified coach, US Masters Swimming certified coach and an Ironman University certified triathlon coach. He is a 3x national triathlon champion of the Philippines and a 2x South East Asian Games medalist in triathlon. He is the national hour record holder (velodrome) for the Philippines. He is a category 3 cyclist and recently won the KOM (king of the mountains) jersey for his category in the New Jersey Gran Fondo.
As a professional bikefitter, he shares his passion for biomechanics by fine tuning a mix of corrective and accommodating modifications to shoes, insoles, cleats and bike components. His area of focus is the foot, insole, shoe, pedal interface as it is the foundation of the bikefit. Virtual Peloton fitting has allowed him to reach a much broader audience than ever and he enjoys helping riders of every ability all over the country and all over the world.
